Burgerville

I love fast food. Some of you know that I'm all about instant gratification, and along with hating to cook, fast food is essential to my life. But lately, I've been having a love/hate relationship with fast food, just like all the other health conscious, but gluttonous Americans out there like me. That's why I love Burgerville. I don't eat there much but I love their sweet potato fries and coho fish sandwiches. Here are some of the other reasons.

-The Food Network awarded its first ever Better Burger award to Burgerville based on their sustainable business practices.
-It is a local family owned chain that's only in WA and OR.
-It pays for 90% of the health care insurance costs for all employees who work over 20 hour.
-Its beef is from humanely treated, grain-fed cows without using antibiotics or growth hormones.
-It transform cooking oil, a restaurant's largest waste product, into clean-burning biodiesel for their company cars.
-It has eliminated 17.4 million pounds of carbon emissions annually--the equivalent of taking 1,700 cars off the road by using only wind power.
