I am so excited about a new TV show that premiers this Monday at 8pm on CBS. It's called Creature Comforts and it's claymation comedy from the creators of Wallace and Grommit which is an awesome movie. Watch it, you'll love it!

My Home

Here's some pix of where I live. My former roommate from Eugene, OR, Paula owns this cute little house in SW Portland in a neighborhood calls Hillsdale and I'm her roommate again here in Portland. We call it "The Cottage" but since it's red and green, it's also called the "Christmas Cottage." I'm gonna enjoy it here this summer. Portland is a wonderful, beautiful city.

My Office

So, what's the life of a carefree Internet Entrepreneur like? Well, I must admit that I've slowed down on my busy life at this stage of my life. My regular schedule consists of waking up at about 9am or even later. I have a bit of breakfast, cereal and yogurt. Then, I get on my laptop and start working on my online business. I take a lunch break and continue working, sometimes on the couch with the TV on in the background. I'm really loving Martha Stewart Show right now. Sometimes, I work from a cool Portland coffee shop, since all of them have wifi.

Right now, I don't have many orders to fill since it's spring and there's not much snow around. My time is main taken up with creating links to my site. That's what will increase the ranking for my site of search engines. By the way, if you have a website or blog, please link my snowmobile site to it. It would be very helpful. I'd appreciate it.

So, here I am working in my office. It's the back porch of my place here in Portland. I'm gonna LOVE living here in the summer time!

LOST

Matt and Krista Mikalatos (or as I like to call them, "the Miks") have a LOST party every Wed night. People come over at different times and just hang out or come right at 10pm to see the show LOST. I had never seen an episode of Lost until I moved to Portland and my friends were going to the Miks so I decided to go to hang out. I've seen about 5 episodes now and I'm really into it, esp when the Korean couple speaks Korean on the show. So, last night, the Miks had a blowout, Season Finale of LOST Party. For fun, Matt even made up questions for a Prediction Contest and guess who won? Yes, yours truly. Here's a link to his Blog where he writes all about it. My favorite part of LOST episode? When Jin tells the Others who capture him to "Go to Hell" in Korean. :)

How's Business?

You may be wondering how the Snowmobile Accessories business is going in the off season. Well, it's slowed WAY down as you can imagine. I haven't sold anything in awhile until someone in CA bought 4 of these hand mirrors today. I have no idea how they are even used but I'm glad someone wants them.

Most of my time will be spent on getting ready for coming fall/winter season. I have to start uploading new 2007 products, having off season sales, and the most important ongoing part of my business, trying to climb the search enging rankings. That's a whole business in itself. This is where my project manager and search engine expert Ryan comes in. He advises me on what I need to do to rank on page 1 of Google searches. If I actually did rank page 1 or even rank first place, that would be the equivalent of having my store on the busiest street in New York City. Business would go through the roof! Alas, I am still working on the technical issues regarding that.

Let me know if you are in need of any hand mirrors. I'm your gal! :)

Mother's Day Weekend

It had only been a month since moving to Portland but I missed "home" already. I don't care how old I get or how long I've been out of the house, my family will still consider my parent's house, my home. My parents and sister still call the house in Bonney Lake my "home," as in "hey, when are you coming home for Mother's Day." Well, I did come home the Thurs before Mother's Day. I had already been sick with the cold for 4 days but felt like i was getting better. But once I got home to BL, I had a relapse and have been in bed ever since. The total # of days sick : TEN!! Yesterday, I finally went to the walk in clinic, even though I don't have medical insurance. One of the sacrifices of being self employeed. I laid down a chunk of change and found out that I have BRONCHITIS! So, now I'm on antibiotics and on my way back to health.

So, Mother's Day wasn't very eventful. Last year, we had a great time at a fabulous restaurant in Seattle. We tried to get reservations again this year, but we were literally the 100th people on the waiting list. I can't believe keep people on such long waiting lists, what's crazier is that people wanted to be on that list.

My mom's been patiently waiting for Mother's Day to let us know what she wanted as a gift. This is how our family is. We just tell each other what we want for gitfs instead of trying to find that perfect thing that would surprise them with wonder and awe at the astuteness of the gift. Well, my mom wants a Treadmill. As if it weren't enough that she goes to the gym 3 or 4 times a week to swim for an hour, now she wants to start running on a treadmill. I guess, it's good that she wants to keep in shape. My sister and I will have to go to Sears and get one for her this week.

Well, that's my Mother's Day weekend.

What should I call my Blog now?

I need a new name for my Blog now that I don't own the Bubble tea shop anymore. By the way, my parents took over the shop and it's continuing to serve the Bubble Tea needs of the city of Bonney Lake, in case you were wondering if the citizens were being deprived of their only Bubble tea shop.

But, what should i call my Blog now? Give me some suggestions, please!?
